This coffeeshop is only a couple of years old but is housed in a traditional 17th century canal side building with large picture windows that are perfect for watching the world float by. The interior is imaginatively decorated in a surreal trip; spend your time looking for the hidden images and lose yourself in the hand painted walls and ceiling. As part of the seedbank/museum (more or less next door) the coffeeshop obviously specialises in the bank’s award winning brands, including some which date back to the original Nevil bank strains. The atmosphere is relaxed with a mixed clientele and something for everyone on both the food and ‘other’ menu.
